    Front row seat at Cape Canaveral .
    Ever wonder how they got the ship from the horizontal to the vertical when mounted on the fuel tank and solid fuel rockets?

    The amazing thing here is all of the equipment and building that were created for the shuttle. Soon it will have no value as the shuttle is soon to be done.

    This is the stuff you normally DON'T see.

    Amazing. Ironic timing for me on watching this video SWL. I am sitting here this morning watching a show on NatGeo about Stonehenge. It's speculating on how the ancient people could have possibly moved those massive stones so far and set them in place, with the technologies and tools at their disposal at the time. Watching in comparison how we in our day and time can move that big piece of equipment around is awesome. It is truly amazing how the human race is capable of visualizing something, and then making it happen.

    Years ago I saw Stonehenge. It was amazing.

    I remember seeing the space shuttle being built, before one was ever launched. I was VERY young then...(and still am, lol)

    I remember watching the maiden voyage of the Enterprise as it was on the back of a 747. It was such a big thing then. That ship never went into space though.
