Clear and warm on The Mountain. We could use some rain. The dogwoods are in full bloom and the hardwoods are putting on their leaves. Spring has sprung.

TOTD: What are your favorite and least favorite vegetables?

I love vegetables because they are what food eats, but I also enjoys eating them too.

My favorite would be green beans and potatoes cook together. Yum.

Least favorite. Hmmmm, gotta be rutabagas. Yuck.

I love Asparagus, tomatoes, corn, spinach, peas, carrots, all fresh or frozen of course. olives, artichokes hearts

TOTD: The least favorite are easy - soul food 'veggies.' I do not like hominy or collards or okra or black eyed peas or green tomatoes. There's a reason why they became "soul food" in the first place. No sensible person eats that crap. Where is that puke face at?

My favorites tend to be the green veggies like green beans and peas and broccoli and good lettuce . . . . fresh spinach . . . . And beets. Love me some beets.

Good veggies...
Corn, peas, carrots, green beans, broccoli, tomatoes, spinach (raw), any kind of pepper, potatoes.

Bad veggies...
Cauliflower, brussel sprouts, spinach (cooked), beets, cucumbers (unless pickled), squash.

I is starting to get hot here again.:( I broke down today and turned the AC on. I was hoping for one more month. Dammit, man.

TOTD: I hate any green veggies, except lettuce. I love corn.

I love all vegetables with the exception of okra. I'm not sure that even IS a vegetable.
