    Advertisements [?]down in front of the computer and we're going to watch Obama's acceptance speech together. The kids are witnessing history and I need to make sure that they have some kind of appreciation for it!

    I know of no 8 year old that will care to listen to ANYBODY for 45 minutes . . let alone Obama.
