Sunday Thread: Vacations?

Accountant told me yesterday I owe another 6 grand federal on top of what I already paid.

Looks like I'll be sending some low life government teat sucking slob on vacation.
Hell, I only work 60 to 70 hours a week, 50 to 52 weeks a year. I don't need one as bad as some welfare wonder does anyway.

We take spring and fall vacations, since everywhere is less crowded then than in summer.

This September for our 25th anniversary: Venice, Florence, and Rome.

I'll probably drive up to my Grandpa's place for a few days in August. Traverse City is a nice place to visit, I can bring Katie with me, and I don't have to pay for a hotel. It's been cold there the last two times I went in August, though, too cold for swimming, for sure.


I'm saving my Aveda points up for a free 3 day stay at a spa in Negril, Jamaica. I should hit the number needed sometime in 2012. I will cash those in during the winter months, though. I get two tickets, so I'm going to have a facebook contest in which all my friends and family can make their case about why I should pick them for the extra ticket. No kids, and no married men who aren't blood relatives can participate, though.
