I have OCD but I don't really have phobias per se. I have problems with anxiety caused by obsessive thoughts which I manage with CBT. Most of my problems are sort of existential.

I do have a fear of heights to the point where I can't bear to watch a down-shot in a movie. While I don't like ugly bugs, spiders, or slimy things, I wouldn't start screaming over them. I detest vermin but here again, it's not something that would make me scream.

I guess that is close to where I fall. Although it seems real.

    Cockroaches.

Dying in a fire or drowning. Came close to both at different times and I think it is the only thing that really terrifies me.

The difference between pigs and people is that when they tell you you're cured it isn't a good thing.

Speaking in front of a group. In a college speech class, I wrote the entire 10 min. speech on a 2"x 2" card. It can be done. Afterwards the Teach asked me if I had read the whole thing off of the card. She was amazed when I handed her the card. She took pity on me and gave me a C for a semester grade.

I don't really have any phobias, but I do have a fear of heights. It's not a paralyzing fear, but I start to get vertigo. Oddly, I like heights, so I tend to enjoy rollercoasters, climbing mountains, etc., but I have a hard time looking down when I'm on top of the mountain. I think I like the feeling of the adrenaline that peaks from the fear side of it.

It used to be losing one of my kids. Now #1 is losing a grandchild while they are with me. #2 is losing a grandchild anywhere else. #3 is losing one of my kids.

In actual dollars, President Obama’s $4.4 trillion in deficit spending in just three years is 37 percent higher than the previous record of $3.2 trillion (held by President George W. Bush) in deficit spending for an entire presidency. It’s no small feat to demolish an 8-year record in just 3 years.

Under Obama’s own projections, interest payments on the debt are on course to triple from 2010 (his first budgetary year) to 2018, climbing from $196 billion to $685 billion annually.
