#1 Poll finds most Americans can't name a GOP presidential candidate
04-20-2011, 08:57 PM
Most recent polls suggest that there's no clear frontrunner in the race for the 2012 Republican presidential nomination. A new poll suggests that may have something to do with the fact that most people can't even name any of the candidates.
About half of all Americans -- 53 percent -- could not name anyone when asked which Republican candidate they've been hearing the most about, according to a new survey from the Pew Research Center.
Pew. Heh.
Other things most Americans can't seem to do:
Vote
Name the Vice President of the United States
Sing the National Anthem properly
Recite the Pledge of Allegiance properly
Recite the 1st Amendment of the Constitution
Name their local government representatives
Name their Congressional representatives
Name ANY of the Cabinet Secretaries
Find New Hampshire on a map of the US
Find most other countries on a world map
Oh, and name the anchor of the CBS Evening News
"The efforts of the government alone will never be enough. In the end the people must choose and the people must help themselves" ~ JFK; from his famous inauguration speech (What Democrats sounded like before today's neo-Liberals hijacked that party)

Dam, I'm going to have to jump into this thing yet!:mad:
Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil;
Who substitute darkness for light and light for darkness;
Who substitute bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!
21 Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes
And clever in their own sight! Isaiah 5:20-21 NASB
