I was just behind an old Jeep Cherokee(the reason why I'm mentioning this will become apparent in a second) and it had bumper stickers on it that made it clear what this person's ideology is. For example, they had a sticker that said this: "You can bomb the world to pieces but you can't bomb the world into peace". OK, I can see where they're coming from. But that wasn't the bumper sticker that made me roll my eyes. It was the one above it that extolled the virtues of stupidity that would make Hazldick and Wee Wee proud. That sticker said: "The Earth Can No Longer Afford The Rich." Now can you see the reason why I mentioned what type of vehicle they were driving? Here they're driving a gas guzzler yet it's the rich that is destroying the earth. Anyhoo, I tried to take a picture of it on my cell phone but the light turned green so I'll check it out and hopefully post it later.
The Obama Administration: Deny. Deflect. Blame.

Not quite: the vehicles, homes, businesses, and traveling of those voting (D) are all exempt. Just ask Al Gore...

In actual dollars, President Obama’s $4.4 trillion in deficit spending in just three years is 37 percent higher than the previous record of $3.2 trillion (held by President George W. Bush) in deficit spending for an entire presidency. It’s no small feat to demolish an 8-year record in just 3 years.

Under Obama’s own projections, interest payments on the debt are on course to triple from 2010 (his first budgetary year) to 2018, climbing from $196 billion to $685 billion annually.

The Earth is an inanimate ball of liquid metal and gas. While the object is subject to the laws of physics, it doesn't have a brain to care about the various parasites on its surface. Parasites that include rare whales, Siberian tigers, really old trees, or nature-worshippers.

If the entire planet was sheathed in iron and the atmosphere was blown away, it wouldn't make one bit of difference to the rock.

I hardly think the financial or economic activities of human beings matter.

Sometime the meaninglessness of life is overwhelming. Whether you are a Christian, a Buddhist, or a nontranscendentalist ultimately nothing we do matters in the greater scheme of things. So why do we shive a git?

Because otherwise we would be stuck watching reruns of I Love Lucy or The Jeffersons.

Oh, my life is far from meaningless. It just doesn't mean anything to the giant ball of dirt, metal, and fire that I happen to live on at the moment. I'm pretty sure my car doesn't care much one way or the other whether we are both "totaled" in the next 5 minutes, either.

NJ, it's not about them, it's about everyone else. Classic Liberalism.
"The efforts of the government alone will never be enough. In the end the people must choose and the people must help themselves" ~ JFK; from his famous inauguration speech (What Democrats sounded like before today's neo-Liberals hijacked that party)

But the poor who get 9 miles per gallon because they don't tune up their vehicles and need new catalytic converters have zero effect on mother earth.
