Original message New Poll Concludes the Majority of Republicans are Birthers

It’s not solely the flamboyant Donald Trump making an obnoxious show of his sudden conversion to joining the birther cult.

The absurd belief that President Obama is secretly a Kenyan Muslim here to recreate America into a Socialist utopia, seems to be contagious. According to a new CBS/NY Times poll, it shows a consistency that the majority of Republicans doubt President Obama’s American citizenship.

47% of GOPers said they believed Obama “was born in another country”
22% “said they did not know where he was born”
32% said they believed he was born in the U.S.

And don't forget Magistrate, this piss poor excuse can be used whenever someone doesn't agree with President Obama. It's not just for Birthers...

Right now he has the majority of the voters, whose electoral intelligence can be bested by a turnip, believing that the birthers are crazy racist right wing loons.

My guess is Obama is sitting back in the Oval Orifice laughing to himself "Karl Rove, eat your heart out"

Go back and read the other two numbers and come back and tell us which one is bigger.

WTF is with the left and their obsession with polls.? I guess since they have no facts to stand on they have to simulate them with polls.
Stand up for what is right, even if you have to stand alone.

They have to make news to manipulate events.

Which number is bigger is not the indication of a majority. A majority is 51%. If the numbers read 34%/33%/33%, does the 34% constitute a majority? Um no.

I would also like to point out that the link in the article linked in that DU post in no way mentions any birther notion whatsoever.

Anything below 50% is a "majority" to the Dems ever since Billy Jeff got elected with less than half the popular vote...twice.

To Achieve Ordered Liberty You Must Have Moral Order As Well

The libs/dems of today are the Quislings of former years. The cowards who would vote a fraud into office in exchange for handouts from the devil.

I think they are using both "i don't believe he was born in USA" as well as "i don't know if he was born in USA"

and counting them both together as birther sentiments.

in which case 69% of Republicans either believe Obama was not born here or have serious doubts, with the plurality believing that he is not a citizen,

    there you go.
