    TOTD: What great movie have you run across recently, that you had forgotten about.

    For me it was The Missing. Great movie, but I had totally forgotten about it.
    I feel that once a black fella has referred to white foks as "honky paleface devil white-trash cracker redneck Caspers," he's abdicated the right to get upset about the "N" word. But that's just me. -- Jim Goad

    We watched "Giant" for the first time in several years, this weekend. I hadn't forgotten the movie existed, of course, but I had forgotten a lot of details in it - like the whole existence of Mercedes McCambridge's character, for example. It's quite an epic, and takes a real time commitment to watch.

    TOTD: Ten Commandments. I know, how could I forget. Well, it has been a while since I've seen it and I watched some of it the other night when ABC ran it. In his day, Heston, IMO, was the greatest actor who ever lived. And there's nothing like a DeMille epic. I could spend a day watching this, Ben Hur, and The Greatest Show on Earth(I say all day because it would take all day to watch these movies:D).
