Can't Beat a Redneck Easter.

We celebrated Easter at my small spread. We slaughtered a kid goat for the barbecue pit. It was youngest grandaughter's first trip out there and she had a ball with all the stimulation.



The kids found a tortoise wandering around.



My grandkids wanted to keep it.

Pokey, the tortise was placed in one of the bathtubs that I have around as water troughs.





Deeanna came to Pokey's rescue.



Got some other photos of the day but they are on my girlfriend's camera. I will post them later. All in all we had a good time.
