20% chance of thunderstorms which goes up to 70% tomorrow, we had 13" of rain over the last three days so there is lots of flooding. I didn't leave the hill yesterday because most of the roads out were underwater and closed, snake creek should be back in it's banks again this morning.

TOTD: The answer to the ultimate question.
In most sports, cold-cocking an opposing player repeatedly in the face with a series of gigantic Slovakian uppercuts would get you a multi-game suspension without pay.

In hockey, it means you have to sit in the penalty box for five minutes.

Arthur Dent: Just wait a sodding minute! You want a question that goes with the answer for 42? Well, how about what's six times seven? Or how many Vogons does it take to change a lightbulb? Here's one! How many roads must a man walk down?
    Lunkwill: Hey, that's not bad!
Arthur Dent: Fine. Fine, take it. Because my head is filled with questions and I can assure you no answer to any one of them has ever brought me one iota of happiness. Except for one. The one. The only question I've ever wanted an answer to - is she the one? The answer bloody well isn't forty-two, it's yes. Undoubtedly, unequivocally, unabashedly yes. And for one week, one week in my sad little blip of an existence, it made me happy.
    Trillian: That's a good answer...
Lunkwill: Rubbish, we don't want to be happy, we want to be famous!

We be in the low 50s with scattered rain. The lawn looks just terrific!

TOTD: I don't think I'd want to know my own future but I would like to know the future of my country. :(

yeah, but anything that Dent came up with would be schewed, as he was a descendent of telephone sanitizers and other "middle men" and when he pulled the question out of the bag, get got "What do you get when you multiply six by nine"

Weather: 70-something and sunny. It's going to get hot as Hades soon.

TOTD: My question for the future would be considered based on whether or not knowledge of the future could facilitate a change in the outcome of the future. If the future is 'read only', I'd have to go with the next major Powerball Jackpot numbers, however at that point, whether or not I bought a ticket with those numbers would be pre-determined wouldn't it?
"In England a king hath little more to do than to make war and give away places; which in plain terms, is to impoverish the nation and set it together by the ears. A pretty business indeed for a man to be allowed eight hundred thousand sterling a year for, and worshipped into the bargain! Of more worth is one honest man to society and in the sight of God, than all the crowned ruffians that ever lived."
