The wrist watch info came from wikileaks. apparently some terrorists used a very common brand of watch to detonate bombs, so we went in and rounded up people who had that watch and threw them in prison without trials.

No, it actually prevents a "kill 'em all" solution. You round up all of the potential terrorists. You screen them and release the ones who aren't. What's left are... wait for it... terrorists. And, nobody gets killed that way, especially the potential victims of the terrorists.
Remember, the Bill of Rights doesn't extend past the borders of the US.
