Believe me when I tell you that this kid you got is a monster. He and Suh are going to make teams miserable.

agree...I think that may have played a small part in the Packers taking Sherrod, other than Clifton getting old and they needed someone to replace him

Some surprises in the 1st round to me:

Ponder #12 to Minnesota-With Gabbert and Locker gone, Minny looks like they didn't want to take any chances. The problem is that Ponder is injury prone. I like him but I don't know if I take him that high. They could have easily traded down and still gotten a decent QB is Ponder was still gone.

SF taking a defensive lineman at #7-Needing a QB and with both Locker and Gabbert available, they go DE...certainly not a need as their defense is already good enough. Right now they have no QB and are not too deep at WR. However, it might prove to be a genius move as after Ponder went, no other QB went so there are options in the 2nd round but Buffalo, Denver, Cincinnati, Arizona, & Washington all need quartebacks.

Sometimes BPA(best player available) is best. This is why I'm not sorry Arizona drafted Peterson even though we need a QB and offensive line help because some had Peterson as the best player in this draft. Carolina drafting Newton at #1 is a head scratcher. He certainly wasn't the #1 player going and they have far many holes than QB. They needed offensive line help and a ton of defensive help. Strange.

I agree - IF the position you need does not have a decent player available, but I don't think this was the case.

This is our DEEPEST position. Corey Williams and Ndamukong Suh are both exceptional players and Sammy Hill looks like he could start on most teams - and eventually become dominant himself.

I understand that Fairly is supposed to be very good, but I believe we would have been better off with either of the two top-flight corners that were still on the board.
