“Given that global warming is unequivocal,” climate scientist Kevin Trenberth cautioned the American Meteorological Society in January of this year, “the null hypothesis should be that all weather events are affected by global warming rather than the inane statements along the lines of ‘of course we cannot attribute any particular weather event to global warming.’”

The congressional delegations of these states — Alabama, Tennessee, Mississippi, Georgia, Virginia, and Kentucky — overwhelmingly voted to reject the science that polluting the climate is dangerous. They are deliberately ignoring the warnings from scientists.

    Good idea.

And while we're at it we can sweep the rest of the AGW preaching zealots out of NASA and NOAA and the NWS.

    Great idea Nova.

I suppose they think the Democrats in charge of NOLA have a lot to answer for...

In actual dollars, President Obama’s $4.4 trillion in deficit spending in just three years is 37 percent higher than the previous record of $3.2 trillion (held by President George W. Bush) in deficit spending for an entire presidency. It’s no small feat to demolish an 8-year record in just 3 years.

Under Obama’s own projections, interest payments on the debt are on course to triple from 2010 (his first budgetary year) to 2018, climbing from $196 billion to $685 billion annually.

Carbon dioxide is not pollution, dumbass. If you think that carbon dioxide is pollution, then you have an obligation, both legal and moral, to stop breathing.

    G'head. You first.
Olde-style, states' rights conservative. Ask if this concept confuses you.

Even if we were to accept that human caused warming were to blame for these storms, then everyone, that is, every single person who lives in a developed society is to blame. Anyone who still uses electricity. Anyone who drives an automobile. Anyone that buys groceries at a supermarket. Everyone that watches television. Everyone who uses the internet. Everyone.

The only ones who might be exempt are those few who still lead primitive lives without modern conveniences, or live in places so poor that they couldn't even dream of such luxuries, or the even fewer who have sworn off most modern advantages, such as the Amish or something.

A lot of primitives are only alive because they get missionary medical care, and only advanced societies send that kind of help. Even the documentaries of the remaining truly isolated primitives in the world, like the Bamboodick people in the Amazon, show them with machetes, fish hooks, textiles, and steel tools and cookware that they were sold or given by modern people.

Even then, we would be burning something for heat all winter. (villages and towns used to get filthy with soot)

We'd be using animals for transportation and to work the fields. (villages and towns used to get filthy with animal waste)

We'd have to do something with our own waste. (villages and towns used to allow people to fling it into streets and alleys)

Of course, all this would accomplish what the Dims want most...to wipe out huge numbers of humans...
