Smokers and drinkers

Marlboro and Glenfiddich. The former I should dispense with, the latter I would rather die first.

Years ago I was in the Glenfiddich distillery in Scotland. I brought quite a few small bottles home. They were a very popular gift.

So remember onions, cut on both ends, standing in the car minimum 24 hours.
It did a greyt job.

Now that is interesting.
I've never heard this about the onion before.

I quit smoking and drinking 5 minutes ago.

I only smoke when I'm drinking.

I drink modertely and smoke a pipe or a cigar two or three times a week.

I roll my own cigs and will drink vodka with virtually anything. Bloody Marys are my fav tho!:D

I've always been a non-smoker. I had to really, really love SR to be with a, gasp, smoker. People who knew me for years couldn't believe it...............

When I was single I would never date anyone who smoked. I watched the lady who is now my wife (21years) for a while to see if she was going to light up. She never did, so I walked over and changed my life.

I smoke Marlboro knock-offs, a brand called "Pyramid" is pretty good, and cheap too.

I don't drink much, but I like microbrews, particularly IPA's and good stouts and porters. An occasional Dickel and coke or gin & tonic.

I smoke King Edwards Little Cigars (about a pack or so a day), and only drink vodka. I'm 72.

Dad drank and smoked all his life and died at 92 in '86 - from old age. Grandpa smoked and drank all his life and died at 91 in '36 - from old age.

I ain't gonna miss the fun!

You obviously are blessed with good genes in your family.

A friend of my son's was a star football player with the U. of Mo (Mizzou), then went on to pro football with the Chargers. He never drank, smoked, ate all the right things and had a stroke at age 60. Unlike SR, who did smoke and drink, this poor guy was affected physically. I heard he could barely walk.

You never know. But I hate to tempt fate by not taking good care of myself.
