Weather is great.
TOTD: I got my garne planted this past weekend. I ended up with more plants than I had garden. I had to expand my existing garden spot, and turn the smaller one I used last year. I have to do it old school, no tiller, just a shovel. I have heirloom tomatoes, better boy tomatoes, roma tomoatoes, sweet potatoes, jalapenos, green bell peppers, cabbage, carrotts, and field peas.
Do you have a garden? If so, what's in it?I feel that once a black fella has referred to white foks as "honky paleface devil white-trash cracker redneck Caspers," he's abdicated the right to get upset about the "N" word. But that's just me. -- Jim Goad

Right now, just weeds and last year's parsley in the kitchen garden. I'll weed it out this week and plant it on the weekend."Today, [the American voter] chooses his rulers as he buys bootleg whiskey, never knowing precisely what he is getting, only certain that it is not what it pretends to be." - H.L. It will be showery and in the low 50s today but things will improve this week.
TOTD: Lettuce, cabbage, chives, round carrots, and rhubarb are coming up. Tomatoes, peppers, snake gourds, basil, amaranthus, and a few other things are waiting to go in. The rosemary and thyme are still overwintering inside.
Then there are the annual flowers.......:p
