    39. Americans don't elect liberals.....
Americans don't elect liberals because the United States, as a general principle, has a right wing, reactionary philosophy compared to Canada and most of the rest of the industrialized world. In many areas, American thinking is 50 years behind the the rest of the industrialized world, which is the reason why the United States is not respected in most of the industrialized world.
Americans don't elect liberals because the abject failure that liberalism is has failed the world over. Compared to Canada and the rest of the industrialized world, like most of the socialist EU, America is leaps and bounds ahead in every category you could possibly imagine, except the category of liberal retardation. American thinking is, and always has been way ahead of the rest of the world, your 50 years behind argument is completely absurd, unless you believe 3rd world squalor is new and modern, which just makes you all manner of stupid.

Canada has recognized this and is working on being more like us as Obama tries his hardest to push America toward policies that have already failed the Canadians:

Monday's election marks a change in the country's political landscape with opposition Liberals and Quebec separatists suffering a punishing defeat.

Harper said the Conservatives won their mandate because of the way they've governed so far and sought to allay fears he would implement a hidden right wing agenda.

Harper, who took office in 2006, has won two elections but until Monday's vote had never held a majority of Parliament's 308 seats, forcing him to rely on the opposition to pass legislation.

Harper has deliberately avoided sweeping policy changes, but now has an opportunity to pass any legislation he wants with his new majority.

"We got that mandate because the way we have governed and Canadians expect us to continue to move forward in the same way," said Harper, who has incrementally moved Canada to the right.

    Read it and weep, moonbat!
"In England a king hath little more to do than to make war and give away places; which in plain terms, is to impoverish the nation and set it together by the ears. A pretty business indeed for a man to be allowed eight hundred thousand sterling a year for, and worshipped into the bargain! Of more worth is one honest man to society and in the sight of God, than all the crowned ruffians that ever lived."

They are the exception, and many will be tombstoned for it. But it is fun to watch. :D

Before you can do things for people, you must be the kind of man who can get things done. But to get things done, you must love the doing, not the people!
