I saw Metallica OPEN for Ozzy. With Cliff Burton.
I had pairs of Pro-Keds and the blue suede mark fives!
I stood up to change the channel and answer the phone.
I remember when music was fun.

I remember when a car jack was something you used to change a tire.

Milk delivered to our houses, in an aluminum box outside the door.

I barely remember Fraggle Rock, GI - Joe, Thundercats and Silverhawks after school.

I remember a time when MTV was hair bands 24/7. (I still have a soft spot in my heart for hair bands, power ballads, and spandex).

Aliens scared the crap out of me while Segourney Weaver was a hot chick with a weird name when I was a child.

Shortly after my high school graduation South Park became an overnight American sensation. One day I was waiting to leave for boot camp as normal, and the next day nearly 1 in 10 cars in Phoenix had a South Park sticker on it somewhere. Usually one of the main characters on the back window.
"In England a king hath little more to do than to make war and give away places; which in plain terms, is to impoverish the nation and set it together by the ears. A pretty business indeed for a man to be allowed eight hundred thousand sterling a year for, and worshipped into the bargain! Of more worth is one honest man to society and in the sight of God, than all the crowned ruffians that ever lived."

In most sports, cold-cocking an opposing player repeatedly in the face with a series of gigantic Slovakian uppercuts would get you a multi-game suspension without pay.

In hockey, it means you have to sit in the penalty box for five minutes.
