Gay donors fuel Obama's 2012 campaign

President Barack Obama’s reelection campaign is banking on gay donors to make up the cash it’s losing from other groups of wealthy supporters who have been alienated and disappointed by elements of Obama’s first term.

Pleased by an all-out White House push to repeal “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell,” gay donors have surprised campaign officials with the extent of their support. And the campaign’s new fundraising apparatus appears designed to capitalize on their enthusiasm: Obama’s finance committee included one gay man in 2008; there are 15 this year, a source said.

The Obama campaign finance director, Rufus Gifford, was a top California gay fundraiser; the DNC treasurer, Andrew Tobias, is gay; and the White House social secretary — traditionally a key, if unofficial, fundraising job — is also a gay man, Gifford's partner Jeremy Bernard.

Find a better Republican to beat him.

    It's easy:

    • Stop pandering to the religious right.

    • Promise to secure the border, by a certain date and with specific resources.

    • Promise to deport illegal aliens.

    • Promise to support the Second Amendment without infringement.

    • Promise to respect the marriages and rights of American citizens who are gay as equal to those of heterosexuals.

    • Implement universal single payer healthcare.

A Democrat will never hold the White House again.

Not all queers are enamored with Obama. Especially those that are high income earners. Gay marriage and single payer health-care is opposed by most Americans. Even in CA where many tutti fruity live, the prop for gay marriage was defeated.

Not to mention that marriage is not a civil right.

If Gary Johnson were stronger on the border, I'm sure the independent LBGT's would vote for him. He may not be checking everything off on Nova's list. . . but he's got a couple things going for him.

If you find a politician that supports everything you believe is right, you'd better stay as far away from him as possible.

Since you approve of putting civil rights to a votes, then you should be looking forward to being in the ethnic minority in this country, if you live that long.

Yeah, it would be much better to have a handful of Supreme Court justices decide these things. After all, they've definitely upheld civil rights for unborn humans, right?

In actual dollars, President Obama’s $4.4 trillion in deficit spending in just three years is 37 percent higher than the previous record of $3.2 trillion (held by President George W. Bush) in deficit spending for an entire presidency. It’s no small feat to demolish an 8-year record in just 3 years.

Under Obama’s own projections, interest payments on the debt are on course to triple from 2010 (his first budgetary year) to 2018, climbing from $196 billion to $685 billion annually.

Try to be less of a fool; lacarnut has stated on several occasions that he is a senior citizen.
