Here's the Vick dogs now.
http://www.badrap.org/rescue/vick/now.htmlI feel that once a black fella has referred to white foks as "honky paleface devil white-trash cracker redneck Caspers," he's abdicated the right to get upset about the "N" word. But that's just me. -- Jim Goad

Small dogs are the biggest biters - they are far and away the most bitey. Children especially will pick a small dog and attempt to kiss it not realizing they are scaring the dog or crushing it and then they get bit in the face. Most small dog bites are never reported because - wait for it - they are small bites.
My Uncle always had Pits and all of the kids played relentlessly with his dogs and we never got a scratch. It took my Aunt's dopey St. Bernards to almost kill my cousin one day. Her dogs just weren't socialized very well since she didn't like us playing with them - we were "too rough".
Environment and training/love make all the difference in the world.

According to the Dog Whisperer, most bites come from small dogs, but most of those bites don't require any medical intervention. If a pit or a rottweiler bite you, chances are you will need to visit the ER.
That's why this study is bogus.
Pits are the most loyal family dogs....it's the Michael Vicks' of the world that give this breed such a bad rap

I would say that given then number of ghetto trash committed murders vs. people killed in cities by dogs, dogs seem to have much more restraint.
Given that, I agree it is particularly offensive to dogs.

I have 2 dogs. You've seen them. The meanest of the 2? The little one. He's the only animal in my house I would be worried might bite someone. The Obama Administration: Deny. Deflect. Blame.
