There's a lot of question as to whether Pakistan would cooperate with us. While their government may have wanted to, the truth is a lot of Pakistani citizens probably wouldn't want to agree to it. The Pakistani government can only go but so far before its citizens give a problem. Truth is the US might have very well been doing the Pakistani government a favor by ridding them of one of their most dangerous residents at no cost to them.
