A U.S. District Court Judge denied a request by Planned Parenthood of Indiana to temporarily stop a new Indiana law from taking effect.
Judge Tonya Walton Pratt says Planned Parenthood would suffer no immediate or irreparable damage to itself or its services to constitute the action.
The court will convene June 6 to hear the injunction pending on the case.
Pratt says today's ruling is not indicative of what she'll do at that hearing.
The law in question would deny public funding to any organization that provides abortion services.
