Of course, thatís a rhetorical question: You cannot give me such an example.

The Pope stands for the culture of Life and traditional values. If you donít like the Pope, then you have a personal problem, most likely one born out of ignorance.
To be fair, there was not an insult to you, simply a statement that the Pope's stance on something to do with American politics is of no concern to the poster.

Perhaps you're a bit defensive on the Catholic issue. Oh, and so you don't think I'm insulting you or the Pope, I'm a Catholic and a fan of the Pope's.

I agree that it wasn't a shot at you. You're welcome, but do be warned this is no place for the thin-skinned. :D

I am a Catholic. Not a phony Pelosi/Biden/Kerry Catholic, but a real Catholic. When one insults the Pope, they insult me. We are brothers and sisters in Christ, and the Pope is my spiritual father.

I am a Conservative to the core, and I like to discuss things with like minded people, but I am also a Catholic to the core and I'll give no quarter to those who diss my people.

I don't have a problem with the Pope, I just don't let his opinions influence mine. For the record, I'm a Freewill Baptist.

It's probably the best scene in all of "Stripes". We have no hesitation in using it around here. ;)

Exactly. I'm sure Benedict is okay for his followers, but He's Not the Boss of Me. :)

I am as well. The Pope was not insulted, neither were you.

As Ms. Numbers indicated "Lighten up, Francis".

um...you completely skipped over the very first part of my sentence, it's nothing against you personally.

While it's not directly, both Benedict and John Paul either made comments on or pushed for things that the US did, not to mention the number of times that the last 4 US Presidents have basically butt kissed the Vatican.
