Top-selling Heinz tomato ketchup has been beaten by cut-price supermarkets rival own-brands when it comes to tasting the best, a new consumer watchdog report showed yesterday....... The famous product was embarrassingly rated second to bottom in a league table of 13 well-known ketchups on sale in the High Street.

A panel of 130 shoppers recruited by independent product reviewers Which? tested four top brands of ketchup and own-brand versions from nine big supermarket chains. ...Each of the judges was served a plate of chips and asked to rate each product for appearance, aroma, taste and texture.
