what I was getting at speedo is that prison lifters are not the same caliber as people who have gone to college and have a advanced degree in the development of strength.....
One does not greet death when he knocks at your door.

Nay you repeatedly punch him in the throat as he slowly drags you away.

There are also people with advanced degrees and experience who agree with me on the less is more school. Stuart McRobert for one. I am not saying that high rep routines do not work. I am just a low rep guy. There are no absolutes. Your workout works for you. I am sure other lifters would get great results with it and I am sure that it would completely suck for others.

Crossfit is specific in what I want to do. Lose weight and gain a little muscle. A few years back, I did a P90X cycle. If I want to bulk up I do a core exercise routine.

Yes. Crossfit is high rep, but it is specific to what I want to do. I never said that a core routine was an endall to all things. A core routine, IMHO, will get you bigger and stronger than a split routine. That is my original statement.

To lose weight a three day a week core routine will do little.
