I wanted to make this thread just about eyeglasses, eyeglass prescriptions, styles, etc.
For those here who wear glasses, what is your prescription, what style do you wear/prefer?
My prescription is -1.25 in both eyes, with an -0.75 x 180 astigmatism in the right eye.
I like all sorts of eyeglasses styles, right now I have a pair of Rayban Clubmasters--very 60sish.

I have no idea what my prescription is - I'd have to look through my records. Style-wise, I prefer unobtrusive glasses that complement my skin and hair. I stay away from ironically nerdy looks and ultra trendy types. When I see somebody wearing that kind of style, I end up spending more time thinking about how ugly their glasses are than listening to what they have to say. It's distracting.
I'd rather wear my contacts all the time but my eyes get too tired from the total lack of humidity out here.

After turning 40, I needed reading glasses, very low strength though.
I prefer the classic style, black rimmed, small frames.

I wear contacts, but when I have to put on the glasses, I have Savile Row 14kt gold filled Warwick frames.

I only wear glasses so that no one will know I'm Superman. At least that's what I tell myself anyway."Our president delivered his State of the Union message to Congress. That is one of the things his contract calls for -- to tell congress the condition of the country. This message, as I say, is to Congress. The rest of the people know the condition of the country, for they live in it, but Congress has no idea what is going on in America, so the president has to tell 'em." ~ Will Rogers
