saw this on GMA this morning. buyer beware

Even in this economy, a picture-perfect five bedroom rural home that lists for just over a $100,000 might seem like a real deal. Except for the fact this home is known by locals in Rexburg, Idaho as the "snake house" because it apparently sits on a nest of non-poisonous garter snakes.

Garter snakes are nice, they don't hurt anyone and they are good for your garden, because they eat bugs and their tunnels help irrigate the plants roots and all.

I like garter snakes myself but even I would the line at 43 in one day. The boy Sheltie enjoys eating smaller snakes so maybe they just need to hire a bunch of Shelties for a week or two.

We had them in our back yard when I was a kid. I used pick them up and play with them, when my friends ran away screaming. I wanted to return them to the creek area before either our dog found them or my brother purposely ran them over with the lawnmower.

Get rid of the mice in the house and you will not have any snakes.
