Perry hasn't started campaigning yet, while Paul has.
He couldn't get the nod in '88 either running as a Liberaltarian.
And?In case you hadn't noticed, the Media's putative "front-runner", Romney, is himself a 2008 re-tread.
As was McCain a re-tread in 2008, for that matter.
Go ahead and continue to keep your fingers jammed in your ears going "lalalalala" all you want to.In other words, your criticism means exactly nothing
It won't change the fact that Dr. Nutz is unelectable and will never get the GOP nod.
No I'll vote Republican. And I'll vote for the Conservative that best represents my views. No, that's not your objective. Because if so, you'd be supporting Ron Paul --
The Cult Leader isn't even close. He's not Republican...he's not electable and he's not really Conservative.
Crazy is NOT equal to Conservative.
This is the same kind of crap that you cultists trotted out in 2008.CNN Poll: Ron Paul Stands Best Chance Against Obama. The fact is, you don't care that Ron Paul has the best shot against Obama; you are perfectly willing to accept four more years of Socialism, than support the Republican "with the most realistic chance of getting this Socialist we have now out of office". So much for your purported opposition to Obama.![]()
Again I ask you...how did that work out? How many EC votes did Dr. Nutz get? How much of the popular vote?
Well, you're welcome to hope that Fred Thompson runs again in 2012, or what have you; meanwhile, I'm happy to see Paul polling in First Place in Texas, and will be looking forward to seeing if he improves his standing over 2008. As I've said before, if he even has an impact on the 2012 Platform, I'll consider that a "small win" in and of itself. :)
I'm hoping for Herman Cain if palin doesn't throw her hat in. Any combination of Palin, Cain or Bachmann would be a winning ticket.
He won't. Get used to it. You and the rest of the echo chamber at the forums devoted to the Cult Leader are all the "giant wave" of support he'll ever get.meanwhile, I'm happy to see Paul polling in First Place in Texas, and will be looking forward to seeing if he improves his standing over 2008.
That sure is a big step down from your big talk earlier in this forum and in other threads in the past. Doesn't sound like the talk of someone who believes Paul is "the man" in 2012.As I've said before, if he even has an impact on the 2012 Platform, I'll consider that a "small win" in and of itself. :)
Herman Cain. Really.
You know, your guy Thompson got 1/5th as many popular votes as Paul did in the 2008 Primaries.
I shall be interested to see if Cain can get 1/5th as many votes as Paul in this cycle.
Well, I believe I shall have to take your statement as a challenge, and be sure to post News of it whenever Paul sees increasingly higher polling numbers, as he has of late. Thanks for the incentive!!He won't. Get used to it. You and the rest of the echo chamber at the forums devoted to the Cult Leader are all the "giant wave" of support he'll ever get.
Paul is already influencing the debate, judging by Romney's recent comments: "It's time for to us bring our troops home as soon as we possibly can.... I also think we've learned, that our troops shouldn't go off and try and fight a war of independence for another nation."That sure is a big step down from your big talk earlier in this forum and in other threads in the past. Doesn't sound like the talk of someone who believes Paul is "the man" in 2012.
So, yeah -- as long as Paul's ideas are adopted into the eventual Platform, I'll be happy to consider that a "small win" in and of itself. Happily, it's already happening, amongst his competitors.
Which proves my point. Your beloved Cult Leader didn't get squat for votes.
I shall be interested to see if Cain can get 1/5th as many votes as Paul in this cycle.
I'll bet your membership here Cain gets more...if not the nomination outright.
Take it how ever you want to...but you can take it to the bank that Ron Paul won't get the nomination and more than likely won't even still be in the race by the Convention.Well, I believe I shall have to take your statement as a challenge, and be sure to post News of it whenever Paul sees increasingly higher polling numbers, as he has of late. Thanks for the incentive!!
LOL! That's the same thing you zealots were saying 4 years ago.Paul is already influencing the debate, judging by Romney's recent comments: "It's time for to us bring our troops home as soon as we possibly can.... I also think we've learned, that our troops shouldn't go off and try and fight a war of independence for another nation."
None of Pauls ideas were adopted last Presidential election cycle like you retards said would happen. Nothing happening this time to indicate anything will change this time. So, yeah -- as long as Paul's ideas are adopted into the eventual Platform, I'll be happy to consider that a "small win" in and of itself. Happily, it's already happening, amongst his competitors.
Enjoy your insignificance.
You hurt your quest by using this pic with Reagan. The contrasts between Reagan and Rue Paul are astounding.
Reagan would have been all FOR the war on terror, he had a sense of humor, he did well in debates, he wasn’t nuts.......There isn’t a concievable chance, not one in a billion that Ronald Reagan would disapprove of our efforts in Iraq and Afghanistan today. None the less, you trot out a picture trying to draw a parallel between the two
It is his outlandish stance on this war that separtate him from what Reagan stood for, and what we stand for.
To seek to imply otherwise is contemptable.
"Congressman 'No.'" voted "Yes" with the democrats to reprimand Bush for sending reinforcements that were requested by the commanding generals to Iraq.
"Congressman 'No.'" is "Candidate ... 'No.'"
