    Man I must have some REALLY dumb mice....

    I use the wide "cheese" paddle snap traps with no bait whatsoever. I just put them in used travel paths....

    Buy a ferret. Keep her (don't buy a male) in the cage during the day, if you like, and let her run around at night. Ours was always loose.

    The mice will disappear.

    When I lived out in the country a lizard went zinging across the floor one day and Sadie Jean had it so quick it looked like a lightening strike.
