On reddit they view him as a European Socialist. A good number of them take his made-for-college kids soundbytes and antics at face value. Whenever anyone asks "what has Sanders actually done?" a lot of them stare at the ground, kick the dirt, and mumble "he is fighting for you, man."

A lot of progressive candidates say and do things for the votes and support, but that's it. At least the Tea Party candidates attempted to stand up for their constituency and probably kept "revenue increases" off the negotiating table in the 11th hour.

Interestingly, in an interview done on reddit, the progressive darling Weiner (before his scandal) was spouting off progressive propaganda until it came to the topic of legalization, in which his response was "don't do drugs stay in school", which was pandered by a good number of redditors. I'm still confused as to why that was his response, marijuana legalization probably would have generated a lot of support among his constituency.

Reddit, unfortunately is no longer what it was. It's basically Digg 2.0, which means that politics appears on every subreddit spammed by progressive groups and there's little to no conservative viewpoints anywhere. Even the conservative sub-reddit is basically neutered in terms of discussion.

The one funny thing though was done by a user named TheUKLibertarian. He used to post about his bad experiences with Britain's about the NHS and he would always get down-voted to oblivion. So, he made another account and lied about the NHS.
