Original message BOYCOTT DELTA AIRLINES...I'm so mad I cannot even see straight.
When are we going to stand up regardless of who is sitting in the oval office and DEMAND enough is enough? Keith had it right yesterday, I am mad as hell and I will organize boycott's, protest, town hall's, sit inns, what ever we have to do.
We have moved so far to the right thru conservative activism and extremism all in the name of greed, ENOUGH! America is supposed to be better than this. I look forward to speaking to my Republican member of Congress during his town halls this month.
I am so god damn mad!
I guess we are supposed to be mind readers...May the FORCE be with you!

9. You know, not all of us watch every story. Can you explain a bit more in your OP?
Particularly what Delta has done to earn your ire and your boycott?tammywammy (1000+ posts) Tue Aug-02-11 10:57 PM

10. It's about the FAA deal
Reid Says FAA Shutdown Will Continue; Blames House, Delta Airlines
An AP story reports that the "Senate continues to object to legislation approved by the House to fully fund the FAA. The bill includes cuts to certain subsidies for rural air service."
But Reid says the problem actually lies with one airline: Delta.
"The House has tried to make this a battle over essential air service," he says. "It's not a battle over essential air service. It's a battle over Delta Airlines, who refuses to allow votes under the new rules that have been passed by the NLRB ."
The issue, Reid says, is Delta's "non-union" stance. The bill to fund the FAA, as crafted by House Republicans, includes language that sets new rules for aviation workers' votes on labor representation.

I thought DUmbasses were a bunch of poor people whose main mode of cross country transportation is a potsmoke-filled bongwater-smelling 1995 honda civic that is belching burnt oil while covered with "save the planet" and atheism bumper stickers. Where they getting the money to purchase a plane ticket in the first place? I thought they were all living paycheck to paycheck while being abused by "the man".
For some reason I don't see Delta's stock losing too many points over this.
08-03-2011, 01:02 PMIn most sports, cold-cocking an opposing player repeatedly in the face with a series of gigantic Slovakian uppercuts would get you a multi-game suspension without pay.
In hockey, it means you have to sit in the penalty box for five minutes.
