Nice pup Hamps. Not a breed I'm familiar with but she's a beautiful colour.
Hey careful man! There's a beverage here!

She looks a little worried. YOU should be looking worried, given the size of those paws. :p She's a cutie.

She's a beauty, Hamp. She'll grow into those paws. She's probably missing her mom and the other pups. I knew you would get her when you said that you already had her dog bowls before you went to check her out. :D

Speaking of dog bowls, I got a cute ceramic water dish for the "girls" yesterday. SR probably thought I was crazy---it's cute little pink dogs of all breeds on a white ceramic base. And it was reduced at the store to only $3.

She's starting to settle a bit better now, after the first 24 hours.

Not much sleep last night (she howled for England), and much off-target peeing (fortunately on treated wood floors, so easy to get up). This puppy bidness is hard work.

As it happens, she has the same parents as another Hungarian Vizsla in my street, an 18 month old boy dog from the first litter. The owners, a really nice family, put me in contact with the breeder. They came over here to have a look-see this afternoon. Once she's had her jabs, the two siblings will get to meet.

Vizslas are gun-dogs, and like to be worked. They are also very loyal to their human families, very people focused and that already shows with Sabine. I'm hoping to hunt with her when she's old enough.

Make sure she gets lots of treats!:D
The difference between pigs and people is that when they tell you you're cured it isn't a good thing.

Good luck with the gun dog thing. I'm sure you'll do better. Our no-good, but sweet, black greyhound Darlene won't even go outside if a firecracker goes off. I'd hate to see her if she heard real guns.
