who, with their habit of putting self-professed communist speakers on stage, has a tendency to highjack and hurt the credibility of many a cause on the left. As someone who went to DC 8 times to protest the war, I can say that any time ANSWER got involved it became cringe-inducing.

I'd like to see a major progressive rally (last year's Jon Stewart "Let's be Friends" event didn't count), put together by a solid group like moveon or maybe Feingold's Progressive United. People are ready to get out there, be heard and show the teabaggers what a real populist movement looks like.

No. I don't think even then liberals will wake up. They will still blame conservatives and continue to everything that they have done to bring it to this point. They will still claim that raising taxes and increasing government regulations will somehow improve the economy.
