    Obama Job Approval 50% or Higher in 16 States and D.C.

    If I felt like it, I could guess the 16 states. OK, here goes:

    New York
    Mass
    Connecticut
    Delaware
    Rhode Island
    Pennsylvania
    Michigan
    Vermont
    Illinois
    California
    Oregon
    Washington

    Don't know about the other four.

    I think its funny that there are only 2 states that actually matter (Texas and Alabama) who have negative approval ratings for Obama. States that actually contribute are of course pretty fond of the guy.

    Contribute to what? The national debt?
    The average approval rating was 47%, and among the states where Obama is below 50% are a number of states that he carried in 2008. If Axelrod isn't sweating right now, then he needs to find a new line of work.
