Before the coup d'état in Chile, the US, with the help of the banks, wrecked Chile's economy. The country was thrown into chaos. It was during those times that Pinochet and his thugs violently overthrew the elected government of Allende.

Are we being softened up for a coup against our president?

It can happen here. It would be wise to keep our eyes and ears open.

Whether the banks wrecked Allende or Allende wrecked the banks is a kind of chicken-or-the-egg question, his far Left plans pretty well insured they were both going down with the only real question being "Who's first?"
