    Because there are several where i live,even one that is a island version of guitar center.

    Because i know a little about guitars and stuff.

    I'd say your best bet is to go in there and ask them.
    In most sports, cold-cocking an opposing player repeatedly in the face with a series of gigantic Slovakian uppercuts would get you a multi-game suspension without pay.

    In hockey, it means you have to sit in the penalty box for five minutes.

    I think you have to smoke pot and own at least one tye-dye shirt. It also helps if you drive a real Vespa or VW Bus covered with the bumper stickers of bands that no one has ever heard of.

    But seriously, I would love working in a guitar shop if smoking pot didn't annoy me.

    I would submit that knowing a lot more than "a little about guitars and stuff" would be a likely prerequisite.

    If you can't open the Help Wanted section of the newspaper and point to your occupation, then you are screwed. Mechanic, carpenter, salesman, nurse, administrative assistant, civil engineer, truck driver, SOMETHING!.......... You can unscrew yourself by seeking out education or training.
