Amen to fettpett and enslaved1. Hollywood is bankrupt in the imagination department.

Well, Ridley Scott is involved, and word seems to be this will be a pre/sequel.

So I'm not gonna jump on the "no imagination" bandwagon on this one just yet.

My question is, will Ford play a significant role, or just do a cameo?

I never saw the original Blade Runner. It was a little before my time. I'll have to check it out. Hello NetFlix!
"In England a king hath little more to do than to make war and give away places; which in plain terms, is to impoverish the nation and set it together by the ears. A pretty business indeed for a man to be allowed eight hundred thousand sterling a year for, and worshipped into the bargain! Of more worth is one honest man to society and in the sight of God, than all the crowned ruffians that ever lived."

It's a good movie. I think maybe a little overblown, but a good movie.

it's alright, fairly slow, not unlike the book, but I guess a lot of Philip K Dick's books are like that

I saw Bladerunner at the Castro Theater in a double feature with Liquid Sky. Liquid Sky was the better movie, but I still listen to some of the music from Bladerunner.
