PETA demands that colonists on Mars be vegans...Edited on Sat Aug-20-11 05:23 PM by Archae
Is it any wonder I have a negative view of vegans?

"We can get off on the right foot on our new biosphere by ensuring that SpaceX crafts traveling to Mars are stocked only with vegan food and that Mars' colonists commit to enjoying an animal-free diet once they've arrived"

    http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/44207413/ns/technology_and_...

I've actually known two vegans, and they were both the "You still eat meat? You're a SAVAGE!" -type.

One thing, both of them had terrible gas, and both of them died of cancer.
(They both were heavy smokers, and thought eating only vegan food would make up for the smoking.)

I know that not all vegans are like the people I knew, or like PETA.

    But too many are.
May the FORCE be with you!

What is the love affair with space lately?

NASA's been grounded....or don't they know that yet?

We could say they are spending like drunken sailors. That would be unfair to drunken sailors, they're spending their OWN money.

Don't get me started on PETA ... I've done a lot of personal research into their organization and they share a lot of similarities with extremist organizations. It pisses me off that they are still allowed to operate in the USA, as they are basically a political cover for ALF and ELF.

With a bit of terraforming, sure. Why not?

Of course, low-G beef would be extremely tender... :D

No doubt. 100% agreement with PETA. Send as many vegans as we can round up to Mars.

The ASPCA and the Humane Society do a lot more for animals than PETA ever will.

Yup. They do things for animals to actually help them rather than run around yelling about how things should be.
