We lost power and my apartment flooded Now I need to decide to try to dry the place out, or to try to find another place. Tonight we will stay with family. We cant stay with family forever. We may need to go to the homeless shelter for a couple of weeks until we can find a new place to live.

Another day in paycheck to paycheck America. If I wasn't so ill, I could skip some medications and medical appointments and have more then enough money to avoid homelessness.

Single payer would have kept a roof over our heads. Now I pay over $200.Io per month on medical costs. My safety money is all gone. I need a bailout.

Ah, to be sick and working in America. God Bless.

Why would this dipshit need to go to a homeless shelter when there is family??

IF this story is real, all I can say is what a pathetic whiner...

Can afford to pay internet bills I see.
In most sports, cold-cocking an opposing player repeatedly in the face with a series of gigantic Slovakian uppercuts would get you a multi-game suspension without pay.

In hockey, it means you have to sit in the penalty box for five minutes.

    His/her family doesn't like him/her either?
"Our president delivered his State of the Union message to Congress. That is one of the things his contract calls for -- to tell congress the condition of the country. This message, as I say, is to Congress. The rest of the people know the condition of the country, for they live in it, but Congress has no idea what is going on in America, so the president has to tell 'em." ~ Will Rogers

I can't seem to figure out how single payer insurance would help him find a new apartment.

Right now yes, but he's obviously been on DU before this, so he had it at home.

Fools just got priorities in the wrong place.

If my apartment were flooded I'd call the landlord and ask them how fast they intend to fix it.

If you weren't so ill I imagine you could skip all your medications and medical appointments. Just saying.
