Why did you pick out your signature line?
I noticed quite a few of them and it made me think why some people pick out certain things

Okay from now on you do the Tuesday thread.
The difference between pigs and people is that when they tell you you're cured it isn't a good thing.

The Scripture is the inspiration for my user name, everywhere else it's righteous_slave, but here there was a character limit. :-(
The Rush quote is just classic and still applies, at least until 2012.
And finally a plug for my blog.
Romans 6:18 You have been set free from sin and have become slaves to righteousness.

Differences between Obama and God: God's plan to save us is actually written down for people to read. Rush Limbaugh.

My blog: How Things Look From Here Politics, religion, random stuff, now on Wednesdays!

One does not greet death when he knocks at your door.

Nay you repeatedly punch him in the throat as he slowly drags you away.

My current one was chosen for its poignant and prescient nature.
"The efforts of the government alone will never be enough. In the end the people must choose and the people must help themselves" ~ JFK; from his famous inauguration speech (What Democrats sounded like before today's neo-Liberals hijacked that party)

Many moons ago, Wretched Excess decided to run a poll asking who was the hottest chick at CU. Given his level of intoxication or just obnoxiousness, he added me to the poll. And I won. :D

Brown-Eyed Girl (BEG) suggested that my "hotness transcends gender", therefore I should accept the win even though I'm a dude.

    That explains my sig line.
Voted hottest "chick" at CU - My hotness transcends gender

It's a quote from the highly revered Capitalist theorist Adam Smith, who many conservatives consider to be a founder of their ideology.

He is supporting a form of progressive taxation as a means to sustain the capitalist system, saying it both makes sense and is morally acceptable.

Today's Republican Party would call Adam Smith a radical left-wing socialist. It makes me laugh.
