Republicans have decided they're not going to give a rebuttal to President Obama's jobs speech later this week, a decision House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi took as a high affront to the White House.

At least three GOP lawmakers also have announced they're not going to show up for the presidential address. House Speaker John Boehner's office then confirmed Tuesday evening that nobody from the party would deliver an official televised response.

Pelosi said the party's "silence" would "speak volumes about their lack of commitment to creating jobs."

"The Republicans' refusal to respond to the president's proposal on jobs is not only disrespectful to him, but to the American people," Pelosi said.

But Boehner spokesman Mike Steel said Obama's proposals on Thursday "will rise or fall on their own merits," suggesting a GOP response was not needed.

When the Magic Negro starts to lambast the Republican, they should stand up and turn their backs on this egotistical, elitist, no nothing, community organizer.

The government cannot create jobs in the private sector. The DIMS have pooh poohed every GOP effort put forth. Shove it in your enormous blowhole Peelousy.
"The Republicans' refusal to respond to the president's proposal on jobs is not only disrespectful to him, but to the American people," Pelosi said.
The Chief of disrespect has earned disrespect in return. As for disrespect to American people, how about shoving bankrupting Socialist legislation down their throats, not reading or writing said legislation, and attacking your opponents not on the merits of their ideas, but solely along hyper-partisanship lines?
Your disrespect for the American people will go down in history you moronic piece of Manfranciscan garbage.

Sounds like Pelosi is pissed that the Republicans didn't take the bait. They would have told the MSM to tear apart their rebuttal, thus taking the focus off Obama's (lack of) "plan". Now the focus will be on Obama and Obama alone. Good luck with yer plan, Mr. President. :D

From what's been leaked, it's just more of the same, handouts for the unions and other special interests. As far as those shovel ready projects, he ran that by the voters before and nothing happened, except for that giant sucking sound created by all that money going down the rat hole.

His event is a yawn, not necessary to hold a joint session of Congress to be lectured by him and to fall asleep with all his pretty words with no meaning.

Republicans have done nothing, huh? Oh really, Nancy?

Republicans Remind Obama: Democrats Are Blocking House-Passed Jobs Bills

Republican leaders are reminding President Obama that the House of Representatives has passed more than a dozen "pro-growth" measures to spur job creation, but with one exception, Senate Democrats have refused to consider any of those bills.

In a letter to the president on Tuesday, House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) and Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-Va.) listed all the House-passed "jobs" bills that are now languishing in the Senate. They include a bill to reduce the regulatory burdens on farmers and small business owners; a bill to block a "job-destroying national energy tax," and a bill to boost offshore energy production. (See full list below.)

Boehner and Cantor also outlined "potential opportunities for Congress and the White House to work together" on job-creation.

Well if she is so set to have a response, maybe they could just run the two word clip of Rep Joe Wilson from the State of the Union speech a couple of years ago.

Nah. Never interrupt your opponent when he's doing a fine job of destroying himself.
"Our president delivered his State of the Union message to Congress. That is one of the things his contract calls for -- to tell congress the condition of the country. This message, as I say, is to Congress. The rest of the people know the condition of the country, for they live in it, but Congress has no idea what is going on in America, so the president has to tell 'em." ~ Will Rogers

She's more mad because she/they want a Republican response to tare apart and have the liberal media "Fact Check" to show that Republicans are hindering or opposing any thing they suggest.

Reality is. By the end of it. It will be too close to kick-off and many just want to watch the game. And not piss off numerous voters who might miss the kick-off due to the rebuttals.
