She was the White House intern who found fame for all the wrong reasons.Now, 17 years later, Monica Lewinsky is still trying to play down her scandalous affair with then-President Bill Clinton....She is single, her line of handbags failed to catch on and, according to the National Enquirer, is living the life of a near recluse.

Monica, 38, flits between homes in Los Angeles owned by her mother, her father and brother and an apartment in New York that is also owned by the Lewinsky family.But her life is far from a social whirl of a-list parties and she is said to spend much of her time alone....An insider told The Enquirer that Monica has given up her own place and moves between the two coasts trying to work out projects that may never get off the ground.

‘Monica still hasn’t got over Bill and would take him back in a second,’ a friend told the Enquirer.
‘She told me: “There will never be another man in my life that could make me as happy as he did".'

I don't think Slick Willie would take her back.

Cut her some slack,..She was just a dumb kid who thought he was going to marry her..That old bastard has made a fortune even though, in fact, he had disgraced the office of POTUS...Everywhere she goes, every guy she meets, can think of only one thing when they Recognize her..

The claims were made in the book The Death of American Virtue, by law professor Ken Gormley,
In an email to Gormley, Lewinsky made it clear she believes the president lied.
‘There was no leeway [there] on the veracity of his statements because they asked him detailed and specific questions to which he answered untruthfully,’ she wrote.

She joined a group of women to whom Clinton lied, cheated, and took advantage of their desire to be "close" to a powerful man. I have no use for him. She was stupid, but didn't deserve to have her life ruined by her silly decisions at a young age. A guy his age shouldn't have been messing around with an intern.

How she can still want to be with him although she realizes he lied is beyond me. She's a sad case.

I had a business associate from Little Rock who told me all about Bubba from way back. He's never changed in his sleazy practices.
