The federal Food and Drug Administration and a leading doctor are disputing suggestions by television show host Dr. Mehmet Oz that trace amounts of arsenic in many apple juice products pose a health concern.
Oz said on his show Wednesday that testing by a New Jersey lab has found what he implied are troubling levels of arsenic in many juices.

Do I believe Dr. Oz or the FDA???
Dr. Oz, obviously. My kid drinks apple juice on a daily basis. I stopped buying Mott's applejuice when I learned it was made in China. I will only buy Publix Premium apple juice now as it's made in the USA.

minor amounts of arsenic aren't going to hurt you. in fact small amounts are used in medicine quite regularly.
now any food products from china are questionable in my book, I only get either the local apple juice or Juicy Juice which is bottled largely in Wisconsin and Mass."Should I keep back my opinions at such a time, through fear of giving offense, I should consider myself as guilty of treason towards my country, and of an act of disloyalty toward the Majesty of Heaven, which I revere above all earthly kings..." I don't buy Mott's for my niece when she visits, anymore. I generally either buy the local brand (Very Fine), which is produced around the corner from my house, or the Meijer brand. The kids are into Sunny D these days, anyways, now that they are teens and tweens.

I'd also believe Dr Oz anytime over the FDA. I enjoy his shows, a bit silly at times, but probably necessary to get the attention of the folks.

In most sports, cold-cocking an opposing player repeatedly in the face with a series of gigantic Slovakian uppercuts would get you a multi-game suspension without pay.
In hockey, it means you have to sit in the penalty box for five minutes.
