You are arguing about the configuration of the deck chairs on the Titanic. The major difference is one of degree. In both systems, economic planning is conducted centrally, the means of production is controlled by the government and prices, wages and all other transaction mechanisms are dictated by fiat. The difference between a system that allows a titular owner of a company to act as the government's agent (and take the blame for the failures of its policies) and a system that replaces him with a bureaucrat is purely cosmetic. The real measurement is the degree of economic liberty in a system, and both systems seek to reduce it to zero.
