This really pissed me off, I'm a realist and know some would have to be shot but this was a firing squad, an outrage!

I'm with you. These animals were "potentially" dangerous, they were not even given a chance. It seemed as though the police were too quick to fire on these animals instead of keeping an eye on them where possible and waiting for animal control? While Hanna was capturing six, the police were killing at a rate ten times faster.

The rationale against tranquilizing the animals was that they might still get away and evade capture after being dosed. Given the scale of the operation and the number of animals vs. police involved, they may have a point. It's tragic, but may have been the only viable option.

I understand. I don't buy it but I understand. Like I said, I have dangerous animals in my backyard. When they are there, I stay indoors. How about those attack giraffes? They could have been corralled and captured.

Hey, being swallowed by a giraffe is a long, hard trip. I wouldn't wish it on anyone. :D

I think Apache is the only one scrawney enough to get swallered by one, although Wei is narrow minded enough to get his head swallered.

Wei's head is certainly pointy enough to make some headway, but if we start discussing giraffes and necking, you will need to move this to the bestiality thread. :D
