Cain was asked about his stance on abortion on Piers Morgan show and then on John Stossell.

So is he saying it's a choice for the individual or what? He's being very confusing.

No, it comes down to is, it’s not the government’s role — or anybody else’s role — to make that decision. Secondly, if you look at the statistical incidents, you’re not talking about that big a number. So what I’m saying is, it ultimately gets down to a choice that that family or that mother has to make. Not me as president. Not some politician. Not a bureaucrat. It gets down to that family. And whatever they decide, they decide. I shouldn’t try to tell them what decision to make for such a sensitive decision.

I thought he had said he was pro life, and that he didn't even think there should be exceptions to save the life of the mother. Then again, I read it on Free Republic, and that is certainly what the posters there want to believe about his stand on abortion.

He has been accustomed to being a private citizen, and like us, he has had basic opinions about most issues - I don't like abortion, I'm in favor of a federal sales tax, etc. Now, as a candidate, he has to have well thought out positions and he hasn't evolved to that level yet.

Which is the best quality he has as a candidate (to me). He isn't as well versed in the art of bullshit, yet.

I hear you but the libs and media will attack him every chance they get. Linda is correct. He needs to be careful cause every word he utters is being thoroughly interpreted with a fine tooth comb by Soris and his liberal creeps.

I think he's trying to say it shouldn't be a government issue, but he's not communicating it very well.

I would tend to agree with him if that is what he is saying.

    I absolutely agree with that.

Herman Cain posted on FB: "I'm 100% Pro-Life, End of Story".

Babies are murdered every day regardless the president in the WH. I'll worry about the next president's Conservatism on financial issues first. His plans for fixing the economy and reversing 100 years of liberal idiocy and big government is paramount. Worrying about an issue that he cannot and will not effect any change on is not a concern when the country is falling apart.
