My daughter, a HS senior, just sent me a text that her government teacher is conservative

she asked if she can tell her that Hitler was a Republic! I sent her a text back saying "Do it!" If she even looks at her crossways I'm going to come down on her ass hard!!

She texted back saying she said it's not true Republicans raise taxes on the poor and lower them on the rich.

I texted telling her to ask her if she believes in evolution!

She texted back saying teacher said McCain is PRO-CHOICE! And Obama is PRO-LIFE!

I texted back saying tell her she doesn't know what she's talking about and I'd back her up.

I texted telling my daughter to ask her teacher if she thinks Bush and Cheney will ever be tried for war crimes and crimes against humanity!

I think I'll call the office here in the next few minutes and set up a parent teacher conference next week! This will be fun!

I'll be damned if I'm going to put up with that shit!

DUer's are such concerned parents. Texting back and forth during class. Yeah that's what I want my high school student doing during class, not.

Good grief, you can really tell when they're telling the truth instead of making up bouncies. They're so proud and clueless about their stupidity. Use of cell phones was strictly prohibited when my daughter was in high school. Being caught using one resulted in confiscation along with detention or suspension. I would imagine that's probably standard for most high schools everywhere. Good parenting job, dummie Gman.

My daughter actually texted me from a college class yesterday because she was so excited. They had a mock election with secret ballots in her honours Pol Sci class and McCain got 17 out of 19 votes. She was thrilled. !

I didn't have the heart to fuss at her.

Doesn't anybody read the rules for bouncy stories?
