Went and saw this last night.
It was a GREAT movie!! very well acted, decent storyline, didn't get bogged down, and actually showed technology in a realistic future (set in 2027). Hue Jackman plays a deadbeat dad who is a complete jackass through most of the movie, and does it well. Dakota Goyo does an excellent job as Jackman's son and Evangeline Lilly plays the supporting semi-love interest of Jackman's well, though there is the under current between the two, it doesn't get in the way or bog it down.
I went in thinking it was going to be corny and a rock'm-sock'm rip off, but was pleasantly surprised and came out loving the movie. Highly recommend it to anyone sitting on the fence of this movie."Should I keep back my opinions at such a time, through fear of giving offense, I should consider myself as guilty of treason towards my country, and of an act of disloyalty toward the Majesty of Heaven, which I revere above all earthly kings..."
