Went and saw this last night.

It was a GREAT movie!! very well acted, decent storyline, didn't get bogged down, and actually showed technology in a realistic future (set in 2027). Hue Jackman plays a deadbeat dad who is a complete jackass through most of the movie, and does it well. Dakota Goyo does an excellent job as Jackman's son and Evangeline Lilly plays the supporting semi-love interest of Jackman's well, though there is the under current between the two, it doesn't get in the way or bog it down.

I went in thinking it was going to be corny and a rock'm-sock'm rip off, but was pleasantly surprised and came out loving the movie. Highly recommend it to anyone sitting on the fence of this movie.

"The individual has always had to struggle to keep from being overwhelmed by the tribe. To be your own man is hard business. If you try it, you will be lonely often, and sometimes frightened. But no price is too high to pay for the privilege of owning yourself." Rudyard Kipling - (1865-1936)

Context doesn't matter to this liberal it seems/ as long as it satisfies his godless dreams/ like monkeys throwing sh!t as castles in air/ as long as he throws/that is the extent of his care.
