    It would be nice. But what is the threat to the US here? The world is full of bad guys. Some of them are a threat to our security, some are a threat to our interests and some only threaten our sense of aesthetics. This is a case of someone who threatens our sense of right and wrong, but is not a threat to us in any way. He hasn't attacked America or Americans, or the property of Americans.

    Your leftist brethren were saying that the reasons we went after Saddam weren't reason enough to commit troops. Even with the gassing of the Kurds.

    Guess the level of what justifies military intervention drops severly when it's "your guy" in office.
